스승의 날 (Teacher's Day) 2012

Today was Teacher’s Day in South Korea! This is what my class did for my teacher hehe everyone made plans to get up early and come to school at 6 something am just so we could do all this //otll

We wrote our letters on colored paper, folded them into airplanes and hung them on the ceiling! The blue one there is mine heh I wrote “Happy Teacher’s Day” over and over in English. Had nothing good to say meh//

The moment she came in, we started singing the “Teacher’s Grace” song (it’s a song that korean students sing to their teachers on teacher’s day) Unfortunately she didn’t cry. (my middle school teachers all cried on this day..maybe high school teachers are different?)

Choco Pie cake! Their class collected money and bought food and snacks but my class collected money and bought my teacher a watch and a brooch HA /smacked (they are actually rivals with my class;)
