Kinda late, but how was everyone’s Lunar New Year? ;w;~Mine was okay~typical Korean Seollal! Got tons of sebae money from both sides of family hehe but my back hurts from bowing so much /dies/ 

But before that, I stayed at the hospital for a few days..was sick with something..can’t remember the name it is too long aha. It was my first time staying at a hospital o3o~

First is~~the room sign! Below 301 it says Kim Hyun Ju is the nurse in charge, and my friend’s name is Kim Hyun Ju too haha we lol’d~and my name tag is in there 8D Four patient room, and I was the only one for now…More people came after =V=;; There was an unnie who moved in the bed next to mine, and she had cracked her back head open o:

Got the best spot next to the window (yes my sister was taking photos for me lmao)

Sick as hell enough to keep taking pain killer shots (on my butt btw ow) but I had the energy to watch Inazuma AHAHAHAH….

Bathroom every fucking 30 minutes because these things just kept filling up my bladder

SO FINALLY after a few days of getting treatment in the hospital, they finally gave me some hospital food! Plain rice porridge and soy sauce ugh

Tasted like crap so my auntie went out and bought me some GOOD rice porridge! Doctor said I couldn’t eat anything hard, so in Korea, when people are sick, they eat rice porridge! (doc also said i couldn’t eat fruit but i did anyway harhar)

Delicious rice balls my grandma made for my poor mother who had to stay with me the whole entire time lol Hospitals are pretty boring!

So..yeah! I got better so they kicked me out (joke) Anyway so I went home and made new years food straight away since Seollal was the next day D: (Seollal is a Korean New Years btw)

We visited dad’s side of the family first~This is a Korean traditional way of giving food to ancestors I think…we only do this for dad’s side. Mom’s side doesn’t do this >3<~

My great great grandparents o:!!! The original picture was actually really small with no color, but we brought it to this one store and they photoshopped it for us ahaha

And that’s about it..! Went to mom’s side after and ate tons of tteokguk (korean rice cake soup for celebrating new years) Met with old cousins and oppas who just recently came out of the Korean army, found out that one of my cousin unnies is pregnant (omg yay) Boy am I glad I could gtfo the hospital before new years xD;;
